UK King’s Daughters in Ashland, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the outpatient surgery center to deliver comprehensive critical care before, during, and after procedures, in line with physician orders and patient needs.

The role requires an active RN license with ACLS and BLS, BSN preferred, strong patient assessment and documentation skills, medication safety knowledge, and teamwork with physicians and staff to educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license, ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• BSN preferred.
• Equivalents acceptable based on experience and education.

Responsabilités

• Delivers comprehensive patient care to critical care patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educates patients and families regarding care plans and procedural expectations.
• Maintains accurate documentation to support quality and continuity of care.

Formation

Associate’s degree in nursing

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
