Job summary

UK King’s Daughters in Ashland, KY seeks a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery to provide patient-centered care from admission to discharge. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans and educate families, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. BSN preferred; 0–2 years’ experience. Opportunities to grow through competency training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kentucky and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
• 0–2 years of nursing experience or a relevant area.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with patient/family input.
• Administer medications and treatments per policies and monitor outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, risks, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and safety.
