Job summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for Caldwell Memorial Hospital Emergency Room in Lenoir, NC. You will provide competent clinical nursing care, coordinate patient care using the nursing process, and report to the Nurse Manager/Director in a hospital setting.

This part-time night-shift position requires NC RN licensure, BLS for Healthcare Provider, graduation from a school of professional nursing, and at least one year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in North Carolina.
• Graduation from an approved school of professional nursing.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Identify learning needs and provide education to patients and families.
• Evaluate care plans and participate in interdisciplinary team discussions.
• Deliver care to patients with complex problems per nursing standards.
• Lead and collaborate to meet unit goals and ensure safe care.
• Assess patient data to prioritize care and plan discharge needs.
