Job summary

Frisbie Memorial Hospital, located in Rochester, NH, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Emergency Department to lead nursing teams and oversee patient care with a strong emphasis on service excellence and staff development.

You will collaborate with the Director to manage daily operations, coordinate education, and participate in performance improvement initiatives, ensuring high-quality care and effective patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active NH license or Compact state.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 5+ years of clinical experience.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Advanced preparation in clinical specialty or management is desirable.
• Broad understanding of theory and clinical practice.
• Ability to prioritize work and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive attitude that promotes collaboration and patient focus.
• Assists in investigation of clinical and personnel issues as directed by the Director.
• Promotes service excellence to patients, families and staff with effective issue resolution.
• Communicates with departments, physicians, patients and families to meet patient needs and outcomes.
• Participates in Performance Improvement programs and PI projects.
