Qualifications

• RN license required; pediatric emergency training within 1 year of start date.

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 90 days.
• STABLE and Trauma Nursing Core Course within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure throughput and quality.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of care quality in the unit.
• Collaborates with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies to boost staff engagement and rounds.
• Recommends and implements actions for staff training, policy compliance and evaluations.
• Manages staff scheduling and labor in line with patient needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and equipment management.
