Job summary

MultiCare Health System seeks an ER Technician for our Off Campus Emergency Department in Union Gap. This part-time role (0.6 FTE) covers day shifts with 12-hour shifts, supporting patient care, and performing clinical and administrative tasks under supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, WA CNA/NA-R/MA-P/MA-C or EMT credentials, BLS, and relevant ED experience is preferred. Join a team committed to compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• WA CNA/NA-R/MA-P/MA-C or EMT training required.
• MA-P if EMT, must obtain NA-R within 180 days.
• MA-P within the date specified by location; Yakima location may differ.
• BLS Certification current and active.

Responsibilities

• You will assist in providing direct patient care as directed by health care practitioner.
• You will engage your critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.
• You will utilize the nursing process per hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Collaborate with the team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

WA CNA/NA-R, MA-P, MA-C or EMT Training Course

MA-P or EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within 180 days

CNA, NA-R, or EMT will be required to obtain MA-P within a specified date

Current BLS Certification
