Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking an ER Attendant to support the Emergency Department team. You will assist the RN and physician with emergent and urgent patient needs, perform essential care activities, and handle clerical duties using desktop applications. You will participate in orientation and training for staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient comfort, and adherence to supervision under licensed nurses, with opportunities to contribute to ED operations and patient flow.

Overview

The ER Attendant performs various care activities and related services necessary in caring for the emergent and urgent needs and comfort of patients while assisting the RN and physician with functions in the Emergency Department. He/she works under the supervision of a licensed nurse. He/she performs other clerical duties using computer desktop applications. The ER Attendant participates in the orientation and training of personnel.
