Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Emergency Medicine team serving Columbia Medical Center Downtown, Columbia Medical Center Northeast, and Kershaw Medical Center.

This position offers the opportunity to practice across multiple emergency departments within the MUSC Health Midlands network. You will rotate among three campuses, collaborating with physicians, APPs, nurses, and care teams to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Provider: NP or PA.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina.
• Experience in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, or Inpatient Medicine preferred.
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient safety focus.
• Commitment to teamwork, safety and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
• Evaluate, diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform procedures within APP scope of practice in emergency medicine.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, nurses and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support efficient patient throughput and high standards of care.
