Job summary

Stormont Vail Health in Kansas seeks an Advance Practice Provider (APP) for the Emergency Department to deliver advanced nursing and patient care in acute settings. The APP works independently and with the physician, performing procedures, designing treatment plans, and coordinating transitions across units to ensure continuous care.

The position requires a Master’s with national certification eligibility, RN competencies, and APRN/PA licensure with required certifications (PALS, ACLS, ATLS)

Qualifications

• All APRN incumbents must maintain RN competencies per federal/state rules.
• Masters with national certification eligibility to practice as APRN/PA.

Responsibilities

• Provides primary care for the ED/Trauma population in outpatient settings.
• Work independently and with ED physician/trauma team to plan care.
• Develops and adjusts individual treatment plans per management protocols.
• Coordinates care and referrals across service units and with case management.
