Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of direct experience in Equity Market Risk, Portfolio Management, Trading and/or Investment Risk.
• Proven ability to navigate complex, ambiguous situations effectively.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and leading teams.
• Strong communication skills to present insights to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead development of risk oversight and governance structures.
• Analyze market developments and macro trends and assess their impact on equity portfolios.
• Serve as primary risk insights liaison to senior management, boards and external stakeholders.
• Build relationships with portfolio managers, investment directors, and partners to enable risk management collaboration.
• Collaborate with other risk teams to ensure consistency of risk practices and strategies.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing risk management team and foster continuous improvement.
• Champion adoption of innovative risk practices aligned with the organization's long-term vision.
