JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York is seeking an Associate in Equity Research covering Retailing - Broadlines / Specialty. You will become an industry expert, conducting analysis, building financial models, and preparing research notes.

The role involves collaborating with Sales and Trading, communicating with clients and management teams, and delivering timely market insights. FINRA licenses and 2–3 years of experience are preferred, with a strong emphasis on Excel modeling.

Formación

• FINRA licenses Series 86 and Series 87 required.
• 2–3 years of equity research or investment banking experience.
• Strong accounting, finance and modelling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and deadlines.
• Interest in the Retailing - Broadlines / Specialty sector.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain Excel-based models to forecast company financials and project industry dynamics
• Perform detailed valuation work to support stock recommendations
• Analyze complex data sets, news releases, regulatory filings, and industry events to shape your view of the industry and companies under coverage
• Write research notes on covered companies and sector reports and prepare presentations
• Build relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external clients, industry experts, and management teams
• Fulfill client requests in a timely and thorough manner
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and seek to generate ideas for differentiated research product
