Job summary

UBS is seeking an analytical analyst to support the Global Research team in New York. You will assist senior analysts in building and maintaining financial models, drafting company and sector research for the UBS sales force and clients, and delivering investment ideas based on earnings, valuation and risk.

You will work closely with a Lead Analyst to perform equity research across publicly traded companies, analyze industry data, and communicate insights to institutional and internal clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• MBA is a plus but not required.
• Experience evaluating companies is advantageous.
• Strong client engagement and service mindset.
• Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
• Solid accounting knowledge is beneficial; training provided.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial modeling.
• Communicator who explains complex concepts clearly.
• Organized, proactive and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Work with Senior analysts to support equity research.
• Assist in building, validating and maintaining detailed company models.
• Draft company and sector research reports for UBS sales and clients.
• Analyze industry data to describe current and long-term trends.
• Provide investment recommendations based on earnings, valuation and risk.
• Conduct extensive valuation analysis on stocks in a sector.
• Create exhibits and presentations for sales and clients.
• Update analyst marketing presentations regularly.
• Communicate investment ideas to institutional and internal clients.
