Job summary

TD Securities (USA) LLC seeks a Market Research Analyst in New York, NY to support market research and publish high-quality analysis on companies, industries, financial markets, and economic developments.

The role includes compiling data, developing reports, forecasting, maintaining models, and presenting insights to senior researchers and clients, with emphasis on governance and risk management in line with TD policies.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• FINRA SIE, Series63,86,87, or willingness to obtain; CFA designation preferred for publishing analysts.
• Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
• Expert level professional experience in own domain with broad related knowledge and analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Compile, analyze, evaluate data and conduct modeling on inputs related to companies/industries and financial markets.
• Develop research reports, including initiation coverage, thematic, quarterly reporting, and marketing packages.
• Assist in developing valuation tools and forecasting models (e.g., earnings).
• Maintain and enhance financial models and databases.
• Stay current on market data, economic information, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain contact with market participants and support senior leads on publications.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and client presentations as required.
• Demonstrate governance and risk-management behaviors in line with TD policies.
