State Center Community College District is seeking a Nursing Instructor at Madera Community College. The position is full-time and categorically funded, teaching primarily within the LVN-to-RN program and VN track, with responsibilities including curriculum development, student assessment, and active involvement in college activities.

The ideal candidate will hold a California RN license, a Master's in nursing (or equivalent), and prior teaching experience in nursing or related fields.

Qualifications

• Evidence of equity-minded practice in the classroom and collaboration with diverse student populations.
• Teaching experience in nursing or related coursework preferred.
• Ability to teach across LVN-to-RN and VN programs as needed.

Responsabilités

• Teach LVN-to-RN nursing courses with theory, skills labs, simulation, and clinicals.
• Develop, implement, and assess curriculum and student learning outcomes.
• Provide leadership in designated clinical settings to ensure valuable experiences for students.
• Deliver instruction using approved syllabi and learning management systems.
• Maintain regular office hours and communicate effectively with students and peers.
• Participate in program review, assessment, and departmental/college committees.
