Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in selective college admissions or college counseling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support approximately 18 students through all phases of the college process.
• Counsel students and families with empathy and compassion through the stresses and challenges of the college search, application and enrollment process.
• Play a key role in developing an inclusive and forward-thinking college counseling program with school leadership.
• Write detailed, personal letters of recommendation in support of counselees.
• Communicate clearly with students and parents on college admissions, standardized testing, and financial aid.
