Job summary

City of New York is seeking a Policy and Program Implementation Coordinator within the Citywide Equity and Inclusion (CEI) Line of Service. You will assist with data collection and reporting on diversity initiatives across City agencies, under the Director of Policy and Program Development.

The role emphasizes research, evaluation, and development of metrics to improve representation, along with coordinating with DCAS Human Capital and external partners to advance inclusive hiring practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in physical, biological, environmental science or public health.
• Doctorate or Master’s with relevant experience for higher levels.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and policy evaluation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, planning, development, management, and evaluation of strategic initiatives aimed at improving workforce representation and access to public sector employment across City government.
• Support baseline and benchmark metric design to monitor equitable employment initiatives.
• Review quarterly and annual EEO plans to assess effectiveness and inform improvements.
• Analyze workforce demographics, civil service exam schedules, and performance indicators to guide citywide strategies.
• Collaborate with external partners to align policy objectives and support inclusive workforce development across agencies.
