Job summary

Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation seeks a Community Engagement Officer, Equity and Inclusion to lead a new regional equity initiative in partnership with communities of color across its service area. The role focuses on designing and launching programs that address priority issues identified by these communities and measured outcomes for lasting impact.

Reporting to the President and working with BTCF’s senior team and board, the officer will help design capacity-building and grant

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with diverse communities of color.
• Ability to design and implement capacity-building and grant programs.
• Strong partnership with board, leaders of color, and senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Launch and guide the new equity initiative in partnership with leaders of color across BTCF’s service region.
• Develop capacity-building and grant programs to address priority issues identified by communities of color.
• Support leadership development and network-building among established and emerging leaders of color.
