• Valid teaching credential or enrolled in accredited program during first year at Rocketship.
• Preferred: Urban education experience.

Responsibilities

• Build a classroom culture of excellence and deliver rigorous instruction by developing content expertise.
• Utilize provided curriculum to implement classroom instruction.
• Submit lesson plans for feedback and partner with your coach to personalize instruction to student needs.
• Engage in data review cycles to inform planning and adjust instruction.
• Collaborate with special education staff to include students needing extra support.
• Engage families through frequent communication and home visits to support student success.
