Job summary

Hires Group is seeking a senior municipal engineer to lead projects across roadway, water/wastewater, and water resources. You will guide design, manage studies, coordinate with clients and authorities, and mentor junior engineers to deliver high‑impact infrastructure.

The role requires a PE license and 7+ years of experience, with a pathway for ongoing technical and managerial advancement within a privately held firm with an international footprint.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PE license.
• 7+ years of municipal engineering experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal projects across roadway, water/wastewater, and water resources infrastructure.
• Manage engineering studies, design calculations, technical specifications, plans and reports to standards.
• Coordinate with clients, local governments, contractors and other consultants to deliver projects.
• Perform quality control reviews of designs, models, drawings and project documentation.
• Lead proposals and RFP responses to grow the municipal practice.
• Mentor junior engineers.
