Job summary

County of Sonoma is seeking an EEO Manager to oversee EEO/ADA compliance, investigations, and related training. The role reports to the HR Director and supervises an EEO Analyst.

Responsibilities include policy development, complaint handling, and collaboration with multiple departments to advance equity and accessibility across the county. The position requires extensive experience in EEO, ADA, and public sector employment, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting interviews and complex EEO investigations.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends in EEO/ADA issues.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills for trainings and reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, develop, implement, and explain complex EEO/ADA laws and best practices.
• Receive, examine, and process complaints and conduct investigations.
• Collaborate with HR divisions and County departments on equity projects.
• Create and monitor EEO/ADA Public Access Division goals and procedures.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver training on harassment prevention and discrimination.
