• A minimum of two years teaching experience in a diverse public school setting preferred, but not required.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Rhode Island teacher certification is required by hire date or reciprocity applies.
• CPI certification is desirable as part of professional readiness.

Responsibilities

• Mentor scholars in developing personalized learning strategies and social skills.
• Create an environment of respect and rapport in the classroom.
• Collaborate with team members for planning and reflective practice.
• Establish routines and procedures for smooth classroom operation.
• Manage scholar behavior to support high engagement with content.
