Job summary

Chelan-Douglas Land Trust is seeking a Community Inclusion Coordinator to build welcoming connections and foster equitable participation in conservation across North Central Washington. You will develop partnerships, engage diverse audiences, and support fundraising in the Engagement Department.

The role requires hiking up to 5 miles daily, lifting 40 pounds, a valid driver's license, and availability on evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and outreach skills in diverse communities.
• Ability to hike up to 5 miles per day, lift up to 40 pounds, and hold a valid driver's license.
• Experience collaborating with multiple organizations.
• Spanish & English language fluency.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming space for visitors to connect with CDLT lands.
• Develop and sustain partnerships in Chelan and Douglas Counties.
• Provide necessary information from CDLT databases for reporting obligations.
• Work with Philanthropy staff to pursue outreach-related grants.
• Coordinate and lead nature-based programs, from hikes to arts and contemplative activities.
• Prioritize listening to and incorporating community feedback.
• Participate in community tabling events and outreach activities.
• Coordinate training and mentorship for staff and volunteers at events.
• Develop and engage a volunteer community and manage logistics.
