Job summary

Dagen Personnel LLC seeks a Trading Associate for a buyside equity platform focused on TMT and Healthcare. You will support the head trader with execution, market color, risk analytics, and desk automation, gaining exposure to PMs and growth opportunities.

You will build tools in Python and SQL, apply AI workflows, and help optimize execution across multiple portfolios in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years trading or execution experience on buyside or sell‑side desks.
• Strong execution judgment across varying liquidity and order types.
• Proficiency with AI tools for coding, analysis, and automation.
• Advanced Excel skills and data-driven decision making.
• Clear written and verbal communication, able to distill complex info.

Responsibilities

• Execute equity, ETF, options, and futures orders across portfolios.
• Provide PM coverage, market color, and risk insights in real time.
• Develop desk tooling and automation in Python/SQL; support LLM workflows.
• Collaborate with PMs, brokers, and tech teams to improve execution quality.
