Selby Jennings is seeking an Operations Analyst to support ETF, cash equities, and options trading, managing post-trade processes and collaborating with traders, brokers, clearing firms, and internal teams globally.

The role offers exposure to a fast-paced front-office trading environment and opportunities to own key workflows, build scalable infrastructure, and drive efficiency in a high-volume trading business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in trade support or market operations.
• Experience with equities, ETFs, options, or listed products.
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle (booking, reconciliation, clearing, settlement).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to work under pressure.
• Self-starter with ownership mentality to drive improvements.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying discrepancies.
• Experience with Python or automation/AI tools is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own the full trade lifecycle for ETF, cash equities, and options products (trade capture, confirmation, clearing, settlement).
• Compile and reconcile data from electronic and voice-executed trades.
• Investigate and resolve erroneous, unmatched, or failed trades.
• Monitor post-trade processes and mitigate operational risk.
• Serve as a liaison between traders, brokers, dealers, counterparties, exchanges, and clearing firms.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and reduce manual processes.
• Build reports, tools, and dashboards to support trading operations.
• Partner with technology and trading teams to enhance systems and data flows.
• Continuously evaluate processes and implement improvements focused on efficiency, scalability, and risk management.
• Coordinate counterparty onboarding, including KYC/AML documentation and stakeholder communication.

• Experience supporting equities, ETFs, options, or other listed products preferred.
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, including trade booking, reconciliation, confirmation, clearing, and settlement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Self‑starter mentality with a willingness to take ownership and drive process improvements.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying discrepancies.
• Experience leveraging Python, automation tools, AI tools, or workflow optimization technologies is a plus.
