Job summary

The Boston Foundation is seeking an Impact Analyst to strengthen measurement of the scope, reach, and outcomes of grantmaking partnerships and related activities across Pathways: Child Well-Being, Economic Opportunity, Community Leadership, and Community Wealth. This cross-functional role collaborates with the Senior Director and Program staff to improve how learning informs decisions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a social science or statistics discipline.
• 2+ years relevant work experience in an applied social science role.
• Proficiency with R, Python or equivalent for statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection, Engagement, and Reporting: collaborate to collect data describing impact.
• Analyze impact data and synthesize learnings into narratives for communities.
• Sector Research & Analysis: due diligence on partners and grantmaking footprint.
• Dissemination: create narratives, charts, graphics, and content for reporting.
• Maintain presence on national funder trackers and dashboards.
