Job summary

Gossett Concrete Pipe Co in Greenville, SC is seeking an Equipment/Forklift Operator to help movement of materials and support efficient manufacturing processes.

You will operate forklifts and heavy equipment, perform daily checks, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and heavy machinery in manufacturing or construction environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious team.
• Reliable with good attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to transport materials safely.
• Load and unload products from trucks and storage areas safely & efficiently.
• Perform daily checks and report any
• Operational knowledge of tools/machinery generally used in construction
• Operational knowledge of forklifts larger than standard warehouse lifts. (ie. capacity greater than 12,000lbs)
• Must have experience and knowledge operating equipment and forklifts.
• Must be reliable and maintain a positive attitude.
• Must be safety conscious and have the ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to make it to work every day, on time.
• Must have the ability to handle working in all types of weather.
