Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Warehouse Manager to lead equipment care and logistic support across divisions. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain janitorial machinery, track inventory, and coordinate shipping and field operations to keep projects on track.

In this role you’ll work with procurement and ops to manage service contracts, support startup equipment for new contracts, and ensure Birmingham facility readiness. Travel may be required for field support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Business level oral and written communication skills; ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments; excellent customer service skills with active listening.
• Ability to lead and encourage teamwork; ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics: Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and battery-powered issues in janitorial machinery.
• Repair: Restore equipment to good working order for redeployment to active jobsites.
• Preventative Maintenance: Schedule inspections and maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns; travel is a possibility.
• Warehouse & Inventory Management: Track equipment location, manage replacement parts stock, vendor orders, and reallocate field inventory.
• Work Order Execution: Log repairs, update maintenance schedules, and manage open service orders or work tickets.
• Fleet & Logistics Support: Coordinate shipping/receiving of machinery, manage small parcel or LTL freight, and support field operations.
• Manage: Oversee service contracts including landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and others as needed.
• New Business Preparation: Coordinate and prepare product and equipment for new business contracts; travel is a possibility.
