Job summary

Mistras Group in California is seeking a dependable person to safely transport equipment to customer locations and support warehouse operations. The role requires maintaining truck appearance, logs, and pre-trip inspections, while following safety and QC standards.

Responsibilities include shipping/receiving duties, helping customers in the shop, and moving orders between departments. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required; forklift certification is preferred, with a focus

Qualifications

• Must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Training and certification in forklift preferred.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have strong customer service orientation.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Physical requirements include lifting and handling equipment as described.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport equipment to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner.
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Follow all Mistras Operational Procedures and QC Standards.
• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Maintain Truck Equipment/Inventory.
• Maintain the service and appearance of truck.
• Follow delivery/pickup instructions from management.
• Perform Shipping & Receiving duties as needed.
• Assist customers within the shop with loading and unloading product and tagging incoming orders.
• Moving orders to the various departments.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
