Job summary

Mistras Group, Inc. is seeking a driver to safely transport equipment to customer locations and maintain driver logs and pre-trip inspections. The role requires following operational procedures, QC standards, and safety regulations for equipment.

You will also handle truck upkeep, shipping/receiving, customer assistance in loading/unloading, and coordinating order movements across departments as needed. Benefits are offered with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold a valid Driver's License.
• Training and certification in forklift preferred.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have strong customer service orientation.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport equipment to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner.
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Follow all Mistras Operational Procedures and QC Standards.
• Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

• Maintain the service and appearance of truck.
• Follow delivery/pickup instructions from management.
• Perform Shipping & Receiving duties as needed.
• Assist customers within the shop with loading and unloading product and tagging incoming orders.
• Moving orders to the various departments.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

• Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment and tying and chaining down equipment


• Frequent use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal/s on equipment and trucks


• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 90 lbs.


• Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS

• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
