Job summary

Airgas, located in Charlotte, NC, is hiring a Technician to repair and refurbish welding equipment and generators for rental. The role involves testing, calibration, and assembling electric, diesel, gas, and propane gear, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with full benefits. Under branch supervision, you’ll also handle documentation and occasional on-site service, while collaborating with team members to meet service goals and maintain equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Driver License with good driving record.
• 0-1 years of related technical experience welcomed.
• Working knowledge of power generating and welding equipment is a plus.
• Thoroughness and care in technical tasks with good organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task while staying connected to team goals.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbish, and maintain engine-driven welding equipment and generators.
• Assemble electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment for rental.
• Test and calibrate machines to ensure peak performance.
• Prepare and complete documentation for all machine repairs.
• Occasionally provide on-site service and assist customers.
