Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Technician responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installation of equipment. You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to solve issues and improve tool performance.

The role requires the ability to work a 12-hour compressed schedule and to cover day or night shifts, including one weekend shift and holidays. A technical certificate/associate degree or relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work a 12 hour compressed schedule
• Day or night shift including one weekend shift and holidays
• 3 years hands-on technical maintenance experience or a Technical Certificate/Associate Degree in a related field

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades and installation of equipment
• Interface with engineering and manufacturing to resolve issues efficiently
• Improve system performance to meet process requirements
• Monitor data to optimize tool performance and address tool-related issues
• Coordinate supplier service and repairs when needed
• Prepare technical reports and summarize findings with solutions
