Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician in Wisconsin who takes pride in keeping fleets safe and reliable.

You’ll perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and cleaning, inspect equipment for damage, safety decals and compliance, and operate tools safely.

Paint fleet equipment as directed, maintain a clean work area, and support other duties as needed while delivering superior customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Effective communication, multi-tasking and teamwork.
• Diligent safety awareness.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs repeatedly.
• Experience using common hand tools as listed.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance, minor repairs and cleaning of units promptly.
• Check equipment for damage on return.
• Inspect safety decals, compliance, and ensure good working order.
• Paint fleet equipment as directed.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
