Job summary

Grayson Carter & Son Contracting, Inc. is seeking an on-site Field Service Technician to provide service and support during job site visits.

You will manage all on-site installations and repairs, diagnose malfunctions, and perform complex repairs as needed. The role includes preventive maintenance, documentation of service records and inspections, ensuring compliance with standards, and maintaining high quality workmanship while fostering professional relationships with technicians, foremen,

Qualifications

• Own tools required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb and lift 75 pounds.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Dependable transportation to job sites.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and support during job site visits.
• Manage all on site installations and repairs.
• Analyze and diagnose malfunctions among construction equipment and vehicles.
• Perform complex repairs as needed.
• Complete preventative maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, transmission flushes and inspections.
• Document repairs, service records and inspections as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with required standards and safety rules.
• Maintain high quality workmanship and professional relationships with team members.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE on job sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Represent Grayson Carter and Son Contracting, Inc. in a professional and honest manner.

Job description

• Provide service and support during job site visits
• Manage all on site installations and repairs
• Analyze and diagnose malfunctions among various construction equipment and vehicles
• Perform complex repairs as needed
• Complete preventative maintenance services such as changing oil, replacing filters, transmission flush, and inspections
• Document repairs, service records, inspections, etc. as needed
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with all required standards
• Maintain a high level of quality work at all times
• Maintain good relationships with Technicians, Foreman, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and other co-workers at all times
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Represent and promote Grayson Carter and Son in a professional and honest manner

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have your own tools
• Ability to communicate and convey information effectively
• Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift 75 pounds
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards
• Ability to obtain Arsenal Badge preferred, but not required
• Ability to obtain FBI Badge preferred, but not required
• Dependable transportation
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on all job sites as required
• Work weekends and overtime as needed
• Committed to attending work each day
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
