Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms, pumps and power generators. You will gain skills across diesel equipment and hydraulic/electrical systems while working in a safety-focused team environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years of technician experience preferred, and offers extensive on‑the‑job training, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment (preferred).
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; troubleshooting basics.
• Flexibility with changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes and models, including aerial platforms and pumps.
• Follow safety protocols and operate in indoor/outdoor environments as required.
• Assist with basic shop tasks and clean up after service activities.
