Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is looking for a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment in a safety-focused environment.

You will work on diesel and heavy equipment, including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC systems, and generators, developing skills for a career in service or operations management. The role requires 1–3 years of technician experience and a high school diploma or GED; some trade training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to avoid downtime.
• Make repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible.
• Work with a fleet that includes Aerial Work Platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC, and related gear.
