Job summary

TSMC Washington is seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Camas, WA. You will repair equipment according to blueprints and procedures, maintain logs, and perform preventive maintenance to support high‑quality semiconductor manufacturing.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, knowledge of semiconductor equipment, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment according to blueprints and/or written procedures.
• Maintain equipment logs, repair data and shift status pass-downs.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Support the equipment section with other responsibilities as needed.
• Become certified on a variety of tool types.
• Work with counterparts within engineering department and other departments to meet quality and manufacturing goals.
• Diagnose and repair equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and written procedures.

Work Location & Schedule:

On-site at Camas, Washington, Monday–Friday. Position typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next.

Pay Transparency & Other Compensation:

At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position,the starting salary typically ranges between $23.55 and $31.24 per hour.The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from$23.55 - $33.85 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
