Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking an Equipment Technician to safely clean and disinfect medical equipment and maintain appropriate par levels for each department within a hospital setting.

The role requires standing for long periods, following all safety and infection control policies, and collaborating with hospital staff to ensure cleanliness and readiness of equipment. Shift details include specific hours and a compensation range per hour.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirements.
• Ability to read inventory forms.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe use.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

The Equipment Technician will be responsible for safely cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment and maintaining appropriate par levels for each department.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Walk and or stand for long periods of time
• Answer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staff
• Appropriately clean and disinfect medical equipment using the approved disinfectant
• Able to read par sheets and inventory levels
• Adhere to hospital policies and infection control processes
• Obtain supplies via Stock Acquisition Process
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Operate pushcart for transporting equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items

• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Compensation and Shift:

Tues-Wed, Fri 10:30-7 & Sat/Sun 8:30-5pm

$17.00-$18.00 per hour
