This position involves standing for long periods, operating a pushcart, and reporting hazards to a supervisor.

• Read and interpret par sheets and inventory levels to maintain stock.
• Adhere to hospital infection control policies and safety rules.
• Respond to hospital staff inquiries via phone or email.
• Perform duties according to the daily schedule and department needs.
• Operate a pushcart for transporting equipment and maintain the work area.

Equipment Technician

Job Overview: The Equipment Technician will be responsible for safely cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment and maintaining appropriate par levels for each department.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Walk and or stand for long periods of time
• Answer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staff
• Appropriately clean and disinfect medical equipment using the approved disinfectant
• Able to read par sheets and inventory levels
• Adhere to hospital policies and infection control processes
• Obtain supplies via Stock Acquisition Process
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Operate pushcart for transporting equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Perform repetitive tasks
