Job summary

Trench Shoring Company is seeking a dedicated yard and equipment delivery associate to support our California operations. You will handle delivery, unloading, and safety-focused tasks at customer sites, ensuring timely, compliant service.

The role emphasizes strong communication with dispatchers and supervisors, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. Local travel may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labor, construction, or warehouse environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and safety/compliance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery and unloading of equipment at customer jobsites safely.
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure work is done properly.
• Coordinate delivery schedules using efficient routes.
• Be prepared for after-hours work if required.
• Communicate with customers, dispatchers and supervisors.
• Provide high level customer service on job sites.
• Occasional local travel during workday.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for performing a variety of yard work and equipment delivery related duties while maintaining a high level of consideration for safety and operational compliance. This is a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail is required. Previous experience as a general laborer, construction, or a warehouse environment is preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the delivery and unloading of our equipment at customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Follow TSC policies and procedures to ensure the job is done properly and safely.
• Assist with the coordination of delivery schedules using the most time efficient routes.
• May be assigned to jobs that require working after regular hours.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with customers, dispatchers and supervisors.
• Provide a high level of customer service while on all job sites.
• Occasional local travel during the workday.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
