Job summary

Trench Shoring is seeking an entry-level Labor/Yard Operator in Fullerton, CA. The role involves assisting with delivery and unloading of equipment, coordinating routes, and providing excellent customer service at job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid and clean commercial Class C Driver's License (CDL).
• Crane certification preferred; if not certified at hiring, company will train for crane certified operations.
• Capable of reading, understanding and following company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery and unloading of equipment at customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the job is done properly and safely.
• Assist with the coordination of delivery schedules using the most time efficient routes.
• May be assigned to jobs that require working after regular hours.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with customers, dispatchers and supervisors.
• Provide a high level of customer service while on all job sites.
• Occasional local travel during the workday.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
