Job summary

Trench Shoring is seeking an entry-level Laborer in Sacramento, CA to assist with delivery, unloading, and site operations for our equipment. This full-time role requires a high school diploma and a valid Class C license; crane certification is a plus and training is provided.

You will follow safety policies, coordinate delivery schedules, communicate with customers and dispatchers, and support on-site operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Valid commercial Class C Driver's License required; crane training if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery and unloading of equipment at customer jobsites safely.
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure work is done properly and safely.
• Coordinate delivery schedules using time-efficient routes.
• May work after regular hours when assigned by management.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Previous experience as a general laborer, construction, or a warehouse environment is preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the delivery and unloading of our equipment at customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Follow TSC policies and procedures to ensure the job is done properly and safely.
• Assist with the coordination of delivery schedules using the most time efficient routes.
• May be assigned to jobs that require working after regular hours.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with customers, dispatchers and supervisors.
• Provide a high level of customer service while on all job sites.
• Occasional local travel during the workday.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certificates, licenses and registrations required:

• Must possess a valid and clean commercial Class C Driver's License issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Crane certification preferred, however if candidate is not certified at the time of employment, company will train for crane certified operations.

Capable of reading, understanding and following company procedures.

Other skills required:

• Forklift operation and welding experience is desirable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems.
