The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is hiring a Main Operating Room Equipment Technician. This role focuses on ensuring the safe and efficient flow of patients and managing operating room equipment. The ideal applicant will have a High School Diploma or GED with two years of relevant experience, skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining medical devices.
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Main Operating Room Equipment Technician to work from Sunday night to Thursday night. This role involves collaborating with operating room staff to ensure the safe and efficient flow of patients, moving beds and equipment, and assisting with patient transfers as needed.
The technician must have knowledge of specialized operating room equipment to perform setup, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. They will work closely with Clinical Engineering technicians for preventative maintenance and repairs, reporting to the Director of Facilities and Operations for Perioperative Care Services.
High School Diploma/GED plus two (2) years of experience.
