Job summary

Trinity Health Alert in Troy is seeking a per diem Equipment Technician to travel to client homes as needed. You will install and service personal emergency response systems, tele homecare devices, and medication dispensers, and you will remove and service equipment after use.

The role is 1–2 days per week, 4–8 hours per day, with mileage reimbursed at IRS rates. You must have a reliable vehicle and enjoy working with seniors in a flexible position suitable for retirees.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and set up medical equipment at client homes, including personal emergency response systems, tele homecare systems, and medication dispensers.
• Teach seniors how to use equipment, how to take vitals with the devices, and how to operate the personal emergency button in emergencies; perform servicing and removals of equipment.

Trinity Health Alert (Troy) TrinityHealth Alert has an opportunity for a per diem Equipment Technician to work as needed as a member of our team bringing medical equipment to client homes throughout our service area to help with home safety. We install personal emergency response systems, tele homecare systems, and medication dispensers. We also do service calls and removals on this equipment.

This position is 1-2 days a week from 4-8 hours a day. The ideal candidate is someone who is patient and enjoys working with seniors. This position requires your own reliable vehicle; mileage is reimbursed at the IRS rate. You will be teaching seniors how to take their vitals with our equipment and how to use a personal emergency response button in case of a medical emergency as well as servicing and removing equipment. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
