Brown & Root Industrial Services in New Jersey seeks an Equipment Supervisor Mechanic to oversee daily workload, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate movement of materials and equipment to job locations.
The role requires reading manuals, diagnosing malfunctions with computerized tools, and traveling to remote worksites to service mobile units; a valid driver’s license and automotive certifications are preferred. Safety and teamwork are essential.
Under limited supervision, handle daily workload. May be required to explain instructions and documentation to plan work activities. Help coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations. Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various cleanup activities. Job may require moderate to heavy lifting. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.

Site Specific Heavy Equipment Description:
Perform Light Duty Maintenance on several types of forklifts, genie lifts, and JLG's, (remove/replace air filters, grease, engine oil/filter changes, change fuel filters, clean fuel injectors, maintain hydraulic filters/fluids, all lighting/lighting signals
