Job summary

Oak Grove Management Co LLC is seeking a Plant Operator to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the generating unit. You will monitor plant equipment, perform routine checks, and coordinate with maintenance teams to prevent downtime.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, strong math, reading and writing skills, and the ability to use hand tools. Experience in coal-fired super-critical plants and POSS/MASS eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years’ experience in coal fired super-critical power plant environment preferred.
• 3 years industrial plant experience required.
• Must be a successful candidate on the POSS/MASS program for consideration.
• Prior Power Plant Experience preferred.
• Good Knowledge of basic math, reading and writing.
• Ability to use all hand tools and various tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or GED equivalent is required
• 5 years’ experience in coal fired super-critical power plant environment preferred.
• 3 years industrial plant experience required.
• All applicants must be a successful candidate on the Plant Operator Selection System/Power Plant Operations and Maintenance (POSS / MASS) program in order to be considered a candidate for this position. POSS / MASS exams are administered on an as-needed basis by Human Resources and all communication concerning the testing is sent to the candidate’s email address provided during the application process.
• Prior Power Plant Experience is preferred.
