Job summary

Oak Grove Management Co LLC in Franklin, Texas, seeks a Plant Operator to ensure safe, efficient operation of coal-fired generating unit equipment. Responsibilities include mechanical and electrical maintenance of plant systems and adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3 years industrial plant experience, and preferred 5 years in coal-fired super-critical environments; POSS/MASS qualification is required for consideration.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• All applicants must be a successful candidate on the Plant Operator Selection System/Power Plant Operations and Maintenance (POSS / MASS) program in order to be considered a candidate for this position. POSS / MASS exams are administered on an as-needed basis by Human Resources and all communication concerning the testing is sent to the candidate’s email address provided during the application process.
• Prior Power Plant Experience is preferred.
• Good Knowledge of basic math, reading and writing skills required.
