Job summary

Skylla Engineering Ltd is seeking an Equipment Specialist to support defense programs with cataloguing, provisioning, and data management across field operations. You will develop and maintain PPL and BOM datasets while ensuring data quality and reliability metrics are tracked and reported.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to work independently and within an integrated product team, and a willingness to travel to support fleet operations on both coasts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience; 6 years may substitute.
  • Experience with provisioning, cataloguing, and BOM data management.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government CAC.

Responsibilities

  • Access and query databases for cataloguing and provisioning.
  • Conduct supply chain analyses to support procurement decisions.
  • Develop and maintain PPL, BOM, and related data for field maintenance.
  • Review reliability, availability, and maintainability metrics.
  • Review and input Marine Corps technical publications.
  • Respond to fleet trouble calls and coordinate with FMF, DLA, LOGCOM.
  • Prepare PDREP actions and resolve PQDRs through data research.

Equipment Specialist

Responsibilities
  • Access and query all applicable cataloguing and provisioning databases
  • Conduct supply chain analyses to support program office procurement decisions
  • Develop and maintain PPL, BOM, and associated data to support field level maintenance
  • Review and provide analysis of reliability, availability, and maintainability metrics
  • Review and provide input to Marine Corps technical publications
  • Respond to and research fleet trouble calls on both the east and west coasts, including requests for support from Fleet Marine Force (FMF), the DLA, and Marine Corps Logistics Command (LOGCOM)
  • Conduct document and data management; prepare informational briefings; and perform PDREP action point responsibilities to review, research, and recommend solutions to the product quality deficiency reports (PQDRs)

Required Skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project)
  • Experience using TDM Catalyst for provisioning and tech manual efforts
  • Working knowledge of military technical manual change process
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government CAC
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills

Required Experience

Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience. 6 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s. A master’s may be considered in lieu of 3 years of relevant experience.
