Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking an Equipment Specialist I to support production and engineering. You will use PDCA cycles to identify problems, troubleshoot, and implement countermeasures to reduce defects and boost productivity. Strong data skills with Excel, Tableau and MES are valuable.

You will learn various machines, perform measurements, and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure safe, efficient operations and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Basic/Required: High School Diploma or GED and two years technical training.
• Preferred: 2-year Associates degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience.
• Must be accurate and a detail-oriented team player.
• Ability to interpret bar graphs and compute rates.

Responsibilities

• Supports production and engineering to reduce defects and increase productivity.
• Uses PDCA cycles to identify problems and implement countermeasures.
• Maintains machine knowledge for recovery and verification after service.
• Provides data, information, and support to implement machine countermeasures.
• Keeps complete and accurate records of all work on equipment.
