Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED and/or two years technical training.
  • Preferred: 2-year Associates degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite Programs, Tableau and MES.
  • Must be accurate and a detail-oriented team player.
  • Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
  • Basic math and data interpretation skills; ability to read bar graphs.
  • Working-level English language skills (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Aligned with Panasonic's seven core principles.

Responsibilities

  • Aids in root cause analysis following the PDCA process.
  • Regularly analyzes data and uses graphs/Excel to verify actions.
  • Identifies mechanisms that can cause defects or alarms.
  • Understands basic machine mechanisms: sensors, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors.
  • Operates precision tools like dial indicators and calipers.
  • Performs task like installation of parts, measurements, repairs to reduce defects.
  • Coordinates with production and maintenance teams.
  • Maintains complete records of all work on equipment.
  • Communicates pass-downs and completes audits when needed.
  • Takes direction and executes tasks; supports team objectives.
