Job summary

Signal Energy LLC is seeking an Equipment Procurement and Fleet Coordination professional in Houston, TX. You will source equipment, manage vendor relationships, and oversee rental purchases, deliveries, and invoicing for EPC projects.

The role requires 3+ years in equipment management, ERP familiarity (Vista Viewpoint preferred), and strong organizational and analytical abilities. You will collaborate with operations, project teams, and accounting to ensure timely delivery and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of equipment management experience with an EPC Contractor.
• Knowledge of Vista Viewpoint or similar ERP is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Field supervision experience and ability to meet project timelines.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, equipment and inventory management.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source equipment based on project requirements.
• Develop and maintain a network of qualified vendors and equipment suppliers.
• Evaluate equipment specifications for technical and operational fit.
• Create and manage purchase orders for equipment rentals.
• Serve as primary vendor contact throughout procurement process.
• Coordinate off-renting of equipment as needed.

• Maintain agile tracking with weekly updates on status and risks.
• Coordinate with accounting to approve rental invoices and resolve issues.
• Track equipment records for owned and rental assets.
• Conduct MVR verification and monitor safe driving standards.
• Oversee vehicle ordering, upfitting, and lifecycle tracking.
• Conduct vendor meetings with 3rd party rental companies.

• Identify and source equipment based on project requirements.
• Develop and maintain a network of qualified vendors and equipment suppliers.
• Evaluate equipment specifications to ensure alignment with technical and operational needs.
• Create, review, reassign and issue purchase orders for equipment rentals in accordance with company policies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors throughout the equipment procurement process.
• Source and develop purchase estimates for new equipment purchases as required
• Coordinate off renting of equipment as required
• Work closely with operations, project managers, and onsite equipment teams on delivery of all equipment delivery and pickups and proactively address any delays.
• Maintain agile tracking for detailed weekly updates regarding equipment, internal and external dependencies, status, and any risk factors.
• Coordinate with the accounting department through Vista Viewpoint to approve outstanding rental equipment invoices and resolve any payment issues.
• Track and maintain all equipment records for both owned and rental equipment in Vista and Fleetio
• Conduct Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) verification and continuous monitoring for all drivers to ensure safe driving standards are maintained.
• Oversee vehicle ordering, upfitting, delivery, and lifecycle tracking, ensuring timely acquisition and replacement of fleet assets.
• Conduct vendor meetings with 3rd party rental companies for upcoming projects needs
• Coordinate 3rd party freight for company owned equipment
• This role may be required to perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned or as necessary to meet the needs of the organization and Equipment Department
